The National Assessment Center Association (NAC) has teamed up with the National Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Center to help assessment centers identify and respond to potential victims of human trafficking.  Specifically, the webinar will:

1. Explain the difference between human trafficking screenings and assessments;
2. List different screening tools specific to at-risk youth;
3. Explain trauma-informed approaches in screening and assessment;
4. Identify appropriate responses once administered.

Erin Wirsing, MSW, serves as a consultant for the National Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Center, providing training on request. She is also a program manager for services to youth with histories of exploitation at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Florida. This role includes the implementation and support of programs across the continuum of care, including residential, foster care and wrap-around services. Previously, Erin managed a comprehensive case management program for survivors of human trafficking in Chicago, where she oversaw the provision of direct outreach, as well as support services.
