The National Assessment Center Association is releasing applications for Assessment Centers to be involved in a pilot cohort focused on improving and increasing the consistency of Assessment Center data, including performance and outcome measures, across states and localities. Six (6) Assessment Centers with different levels of data capacity (basic, intermediate, and advanced) will be selected for the cohort will be supported with intensive technical assistance from the National Center for Juvenile Justice and Jeff Kretschmar (consultant) over a 14-month period.

The development of more consistent performance and outcome measures will allow us to work with Assessment Centers to assess their impacts in prevention, diversion, and early intervention and is a necessary step prior to broad scale assessment of the NAC Framework. Additionally, more consistent performance and outcome measurement methods will allow assessment centers to receive feedback directly from youth and families, track and identify possible disparities in center diversion and prevention efforts, assess public safety impacts, and inform actionable recommendations to address these issues.

This webinar will
1. Introduce and seek feedback on a prototype of the national reporting tool,
2. Engage attendees in order to understand their current data and information system capacity,
3. Explain the application process for participation in the cohort.
