Technical Assistance Networks

NAC Technical Assistance (TA) Networks are structured learning cohorts that bring Assessment Centers together to promote shared practice, strengthen implementation, and accelerate field-wide learning. Peer Networks

Peer Networks provide an ongoing space for Assessment Center professionals in similar roles or stages of development to connect, share strategies, and problem-solve in real time. These networks emphasize dialogue, mutual support, and the exchange of practical solutions.

  • Director’s Circle: An exclusive peer network for established Assessment Center leaders to share strategies, shape national conversations, and stay ahead with NAC’s latest resources and insights.
  • Launch: A supportive learning community for emerging Assessment Centers to build strong foundations, access peer support, and gain guidance from experienced leaders.

Practice Networks

Practice Networks are time-limited, structured cohorts focused on implementing specific Assessment Center practices. Participants engage in guided reflection, peer learning, and action planning supported by NAC-developed tools and facilitation resources.

  • Self-Assessment Practice Network: A structured cohort that guides Centers through NAC’s self-assessment process, fostering reflection, peer learning, and actionable planning for improvement.
  • ACORN (Assessment Center Outcomes and Referral Network) Practice Network: A focused learning community to strengthen data-informed practice, build local data capacity, and contribute to shared measures and field-wide learning.

Innovation Networks

Innovation Networks bring together Assessment Centers to test and refine new approaches in the field. These cohorts explore emerging practices, pilot innovative strategies, and generate lessons that inform future practice and policy.
