Applying the Assessment Center Framework to the Adult System: Linn County, Iowa's Journey

Over the past seven years Linn County, Iowa has worked collaboratively with community key stakeholders to discuss the planning and implementation of a community-based Mental Health Access Center with the goal to divert adults from the criminal justice system. This presentation will discuss the history of Linn County, Iowa's Access Center and how it aligns with the National Assessment Center Framework.

2. Learn how the NAC Framework is used for a mental health access center for adults.
3. Learn about the outcomes Linn County Mental Health Access Center has seen in first year of operation.
