Peer-to-Peer Webinar: Assessment Center Data Management Systems

Date: February 13th, 2024
Time: 2:00 - 3:00 EST
Fee: Member - Free; Nonmember - $30

Join us for a peer-to-peer learning session! Staff from The Bridge in Ada County, Idaho and The Harbor in Clark County, Nevada will showcase their innovative data management systems. Attendees will learn how those systems allow for easy input of data from staff members, how they have allowed the Assessment Centers to better serve youth and families, and how they have helped to communicate data indicators and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.

Our speaker, Amy Harig, is the Special Planning and Projects Manager for Ada County Juvenile Services in Boise, Idaho where she leads key initiatives and special projects that promote best practices in juvenile justice. Her most recent initiative was helping launch The Bridge Youth and Family Resource Center! She continues to support the strategic and analytical development of both organizations, from business operations to performance measurement. Amy really likes numbers, data and analysis because they provide facts to tell organizations if they are making the right choices, focusing on the right programs and moving in the right direction.

Amy has a diverse research and educational background in corrections, law enforcement, juvenile justice, statistics, human resources, and natural and social sciences. She has a Master’s degree from Cornell University and a PhD from Colorado State University. In past positions, she built and managed  the planning and research team for the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, was an adjunct professor at Boise State University teaching statistics to students who hate math, and launched an employee training and development program for a youth-serving nonprofit.
